Our client bought a lovely 1920’s cottage and wanted the windows to match the stunning cottage aesthetics. To achieve the aesthetics they were after with minimum maintenance, and also achieve a much better thermal performance, the Rationel AuraPlus window was the easy choice.

Rationel’s AuraPlus timber windows offers all the iconic contemporary style of a timber window with the added bonus of aluminium cladding on the outside, meaning maintenance is practically non-existent on the exterior and  the warmth and traditional feel on the interior keeps the traditional feel of the cottage.

The client decided on a darker colour for the exterior and a lighter colour on the interior to keep the inside nice and bright. As you can see from the photos it was a real success and we were all extremely happy with how the project turned out. It gives the house a completely different look and a huge improvement on the thermal values.

Now officially the best looking house on the street, neighbours are already enquiring on how to get their windows upgraded.
